Andover Town0–3○Lymington Town

Andover Town made four changes from the side that started the match against Portchester; Jarid Hixon came in for the suspended Lloyd Thomas in goal, and Connor Cocklin, Zach Glasspool, Sam Pekun replaced Ross Gregory, Jordan Brackstone and Victor Guiterrez. There was a downpour of rain before the match and downpours during the first half but the pitch remains in good condition considering it's at the season end.

Lymington had an early chance when a long throw by Callum Davies was headed behind for a corner which was cleared. Lymington went in front in the forth minute when a cross from the right-hand side was headed back from the far post and Ross Bottomley volleyed it Past Jarid Hixon. In the eleventh minute Adam Grange went down after a tackle from Tom Mann who was booked for the challenge, unfortunately Adam Grange had to be carried off with a serious knee injury, he was replaced by Victor Guiterrez. Andover Town had several free kicks but Ross Casey wisely chose to punch away instead of trying to catch the ball in the wet conditions. A free kick by Javier Santafe-Vivo was launched into the penalty area but the keeper punched the ball behind for a corner which was cleared. A few minutes later another free kick fell to Sam Pekun whose shot on the turn was blocked. Sanatafe-Vivo picked out Pekun with an excellent pass and his cross was headed over by Zach Glasspool. Just before half time a free kick by Liam Gilbert found Santafe who set up Rusher whose cross found Guiterrez but his header went wide,

Lymington went into the half time break 1-0 up despite the home side having more of the play.

Lymington increased their lead in the 51st Minute when a shot from Sam House from inside the penalty area found the back of the net despite a full length dive by Hixon. On seventyminutes Lymington went further ahead when Sam House scored his second of the afternoon when he latched onto a half clearance and moved to his right before hitting his shot across Hixon into the far corner. Andover responded when a Santafe free kick went narrowly wide. Andover were now seeing more of the ball and with Santafe feeding both Pekun and Rusher on the wings a number of crosses were going into the area but Andover could not find a way past the Lymington defence. Just before the finish a cross from Pekun hit a Lymington defender and looped safely back to Casey.

The match finished 3-0 to the away side, but on the overall play this was a very flattering scoreline as there was not three goals difference between the two sides. Andover Town slip down to 14th Place in the league table.
