Season review

As our season has now finished - time for a quick review.

Highs & Lows ....

The club has now reached the lowest position since our formation in 2013. The season ended with just 19 points, the same as our exit from the Wessex League in 2023/24 season. What lies in store for us next season in the Hampshire League First Division only time will tell ??

First 9 matches without a win wasn't the best start to the season, including a 9-1 defeat at Denmead. Sadly we only managed one win away from home. No need to dwell any more on the downs ......

Some highs ... Obviously winning the 'George Mason Memorial Shield' was a welcome relief for all to end the season a well deserved win. Captain & assistant manager, Owen Trapnell reached 240 appearances for the club - a record !! Malachi Johnson reached 132 appearances, over taking, club legend, Lewis Benson's 130 appearances. Josh Bertie made a few appearances and added goals to make it 92 for the club - a record,he has also now made 144 appearances for the club.

A BIG thank you to all players for their efforts during the season, also to all volunteers who helped during home matches plus of course - thank you all loyal supporters througout the season & and our ace reporter - for those who stuck by the team during a difficult season !! Sorry too many to name individually !!
