Andover Town welcomed the return of Connor Cocklin and Chris Onoufriou from the injury list enabling them to field an almost full strength side.This match was the fourth of five consecutive away fixtures and with a brace of goals in each half they recorded the first league win since early August. From the start Andover took control of the game and early on Adam Grange and Craig Blakeman went close before Grange playing his Fourth game in seven days was brought down just inside the area and Lewis Gilbert stepped up to blast home the penalty.Almost immediately from the restart Charlie Gunson broke clear but the Lymington keeper Stuart Willamson came out quickly to narrow the angle and smother the ball. On the half hour mark Jamie Bray used his feet to deny Charlie Willet a equaliser and that proved to be the last time that Bray was put under serious pressure.In time added on before the interval Adam Grange again drifted into the area but this time found enough space to fire home just inside the post.

At the start of the second half McCaulie Stubbs replaced Russ Gregory who suffered a knock toward the end of the first period .However just five had elapsed when the Referee played good advantage for an infringement against a Town player. Gilbert threaded the ball to Rudi Plummer who easily beat Williamson with a low shot. With Twenty minutes left Andover won the first of three consecutive corners.All were taken by the outstanding Grange and Williamson was forced to tip the first over the bar. The second eventually found Gunson but his fierce drive was deflected,but from the vital third Rudi Plummer netted from close range. Late in the game Plummer had an opportunity to complete his Hat trick but his volley rattled the crossbar,but he remains the club’s leading goal scorer.
