Andover Town were hoping to extend their 5 match unbeaten run when they visited Gang Warily to face 2nd placed Blackfield. & Langley.

Andover started the match well and made the early running. The early pressure forced a corner but was just headed over the bar by Gregory. The visitors gained a free kick but Santafe's shot went narrowly wide. With around half hour gone Adam Grange received the ball in the penalty area and calmly cut the ball back to Zach Glasspool (pictured) who fired home to give town a deserved lead. With Andover in the ascendency, Reece Rusher ran through on goal but a Blackfield defender got back and made a good tackle and deny the winger. Then a good run by Adam grange took him into the penalty area but he pushed the ball just too far and it went out for a goal kick. Blackfield were restricted to just one attempt on goal in the first half when a header from a corner cleared the crossbar.

Town went into the half time break deservedly winning 1-0.

The second half started with Andover pressure and and a well hit shot from Liam Hibberd was well saved by the home keeper. Blackfield then started to come into the match and almost drew level when a header went just wide and then in another home attack a cross from the right went across the six yard box but it eluded everybody. However, Blackfield did equalise when Jamie White smashed the ball past Lloyd Thomas in the Andover goal with just under an hour gone. This saw the home side with their tails up and minutes later the Watersiders went in front when ex-town player Harrison Fay who had been booked a few minutes earlier lobbed the ball past Lloyd Thomas and into the back of the net. It was an eventful afternoon for Fay as he was also later substituted. Jamie white had a shot that was well saved by Lloyd Thomas. With Andover looking to equalise they upped their game in the final stages of the match, a cross from the left was met by Reece Rusher but the home keeper Snelling made a point blank save, this was followed by a Carlo Santoro shot that was again saved by Snelling then Reece Rusher had a long range shot which the Snelling easily saved . An Adam grange attempt on goal was also saved by Snelling and then a fine shot from Shane lock went narrowly wide. The match finished 2-1 to the home side but Andover deserved to take at least a point from a game they controlled apart from a 15 minute spell in the second half and a busy afternoon for Snelling in the home goal.
